It does so by locking in the juices while draining off the fats in a consistently maintained temperature, thanks to a user-removable chrome insert that mirrors heat as the rotisserie rotates.
Cuisinart Rotisseries features an easy-to-use control section which includes the following: hour and minute button used to set cooking time, press and release repeatedly to advance a digit at a time, or press and hold to scroll available digits.
Bypassing this timer allows you to cook for a fixed four hours after which the unit automatically shuts off.
This option also enables timer setting during a manual cooking cycle and an actual timed cycle. A convenient, easy-to-read LCD displays 3-hour countdown timer, selected time via the hour/minute button, and the remaining time if the countdown timer is halted.
A temperature control button offers five heat setting presets from 325°F to 450°F. An interior illumination button allows convenient viewing while cooking your food. Finally, a handy start/stop button is used to turn the unit on, pause the countdown timer, and to power off the rotisserie (press and hold for 2 seconds).
However, failure to press this button for 30 minutes cancels any selected settings and resets timer.
Cuisinart Rotisseries also features a very convenient memory function that lets the unit resume cooking automatically upon a 30 second or less power interruption, or at the temperature and time specified. Once cooking is done, five beeps will remind you that your delicious food is ready to be served.
